Born in Kansas City, I began dancing at age three, and haven't stopped dancing since. Moving to
Flagstaff Arizona at age 5, I then stepped into the spotlight performing my first solo "How much is that doggie in the window?" And that was just the beginning. My next major career move was my first theatre production starring as…the Chipmunk in Snow White!
From there the roles continued to grow…the card in Alice in Wonderland, a townsperson in Sleeping Beauty, a Hula Dancer in Gidget Goes Hawaiian, and finally my first speaking role, Aladdin's Sister (don't ask!) During all of this, my mom drove me through the treacherous mountains to Sedona in rain, snow, sleet and dark of night four times a week for voice lessons and dance classes with Lorene Yarnell of Shields and Yarnell. My mom also had me in anything and everything…ice-skating, gymnastics, soccer , piano and flute (which I ended up loving, playing and competing for 6 years). Finally, at age 10, I received my first lead, The Narrator in "I Believe in Make Believe".
A Star was Born.
When I was 11, my dad was transferred to Phoenix, Arizona (I had done everything there was to do in the one wagon town, Flagstaff). I started performing immediately with Desert Stages and Greasepaint Youtheatre having the opportunity to play a variety of roles. And continued to train and work on my craft as well. Then finally, at 15, I landed my first adult theatre show! Flaemmchen in Grand Hotel. AMAZING experience. I haven't stopped since. I began performing professionally at 17 with the show A Christmas Carol with Actors Theatre of Phoenix, and two months out of High school I was sailing to Hawaii as a Featured Performer aboard the SS Independence. Returning home I was fortunate enough to be handed my Equity Card for the show My Way, with Phoenix Theatre. Since then, I have played some amazing roles such as Roxie in Chicago, Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Cinderella in Into the Woods, and was just a part of the World Premiere of the musical, Unbeatable, performing in Phoenix and Houston and also recorded the Original Cast Album. Its planning on opening off-Broadway in the near future!
Over the years I have met some amazing people that have inspired me and have helped me grow and have made me the woman and performer that I am today! I am so fortunate. I'm an outgoing person with many interests such as reading, writing, bowling, miniature golf, music, traveling and most of all laughing and sharing with my friends! I have traveled the world performing, Asia, Europe and around the Country and I have finally moved to NYC to fulfill my destiny. Performing is my love and passion and is my purpose in life. The stage is my home…
And that's just a little bit about me!
